The questionnaire is posted to all the pirivenas by Statistical Unit of the Ministry of Education.
Principals of the pirivenas are responsible for filling the questionnaire and return to the Statistical Unit of the Ministry.
Data enntry is done by the the Ststistical Branch of Ministry of Education.

Manual data editing and coding is done by the statistical unit of the ministry.

Data processing included the following steps.
1. Accepting the filled questionnaires by Statistical Branch of the MOE.
2. Do the data entry.
2. Run edit program.
3. Produce error reports
4. Correction of errors.
5. Re-run the edit program and repeat the error correction procedure
6. Merge the data files
